I wanted to show pigments in use with other bases other than mixing mediums.

The below pictures shows, using Golden Olive for example, from left to right:
No base, Visine as a base, Fix+ as a base

Overall, when using a water base solution, I prefer the Fix+. I feel Fix+ as an overall multi-use purpose and I prefer not to shell an extra 15-20 dollars for a separate solution such as MAC mixing medium or even 4 dollars for a bottle of glycerin.
